Samir Bhatia

CEO and Founder, Brightleaf Solutions, Inc.

Samir has over 25 years of experience building successful technology companies.  He has launched many software and electronic products from concept to successful market penetration.  Recently he was the CFO at Cambridge Technology Enterprises (smartShift), a multi-national software transformation company and was instrumental in the turnaround of the company.  Prior to that he was the CIO at Boston Analytics, an offshore Knowledge Processing Organization, and Founder/President of Tribiosys, a technology and process consulting firm for bio-techs and pharmaceuticals.  Samir holds Master’s degrees in Computer Science and Physics from Northeastern University.

Bill Starr


Bill Starr is a senior financial advisor and acting CFO for Brightleaf Solutions.  He brings more than 20 years of international experience in finance, entrepreneurship, and business development. He is the Managing Director of The CFO Center, where he leads a team of CFOs to provide CFO services on a part-time basis. As part of his role, Bill serves as the CFO for TechHub Boston, as well as for a select number of high-growth startups in the media and technology space. He is a former investment banker with The Collins Group and Macquarie Bank, and a former Senior Manager, PricewaterhouseCoopers. He is a Canadian Chartered Accountant (CPA, CA), and earned his bachelor’s degree in business at Bishop’s University in Quebec, Canada.

Daniel Berdichevsky

Senior Account Executive

Daniel is the Senior Account Executive and Partnerships Lead at Brightleaf. He plays a key role in generating business as well as managing and signing new partners. Daniel contributes to the Marketing, Business Development and Client Services initiatives at Brightleaf. Prior to Brightleaf, Daniel was the Account Executive at Altium Software, a leading provider of PCB design software, where he was instrumental in re-signing current client business as well as bringing in new business. Daniel has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Regis College and is currently pursuing his MBA at Babson College.

Pardha Sai

Head of Delivery and Operations, India

Pardha heads the delivery and operations of Brightleaf and is responsible for quality, cost, delivery and speed (QCDS). Pardha has 15 years of experience in handling various projects in financial and legal document extraction and automation domain.  Prior to joining Brightleaf he has worked in technology bound start-up companies and involved in Mergers and Acquisitions process during pre and post transition phase. He is passionate about bringing technology into process and solve business problems. A Lean Six Sigma expert, Pardha holds master’s degree in Business Administration from SMU, India and is also a professional member of Project Management Institute (PMI).

Pooja Sharma

General Manager – India Operations

Pooja is the General Manager for Brightleaf’s India based operations. She is responsible for worldwide marketing,  administrative as well as financial functions. An ISO 27001 certified Lead Auditor, she is also responsible for implementing and maintaining all of Brightleaf’s continuous improvement systems and certifications, including ISO 27001 information security and ISO 9001 quality certifications. In her previous roles Pooja has worked as a corporate trainer and handled marketing and market research efforts of companies in financial and legal domains. A post graduate in Public Relations, she has extensive experience in managing different aspects of an organization.
