The service provides structured data extraction from invoices and other financial documents. Using Brightleaf’s semantic intelligence engine to perform the initial extraction, we apply multiple levels of quality control through a human-in-the-loop review process to ensure high accuracy and consistency. Key invoice attributes such as vendor details, invoice numbers, dates, line items, taxes, and totals are extracted regardless of document format or layout. The system is configurable to capture both standard invoice fields and business-specific data elements based on client requirements.

As part of this service, image-based invoices in formats such as PDFs, scans, or photos are converted into machine-readable text before extraction. Following validation and quality checks, the extracted data is delivered in CSV or XLS formats for easy ingestion into ERP, accounting, or finance systems, enabling faster processing, reduced manual effort, and improved financial control.
